A Christmas Prayer

God, God of Mary, we long for peace. We pray for an end to wars between human beings and nature. We ask for help to overcome racism, hunger and poverty. We pray for the refugees scattered all over the world.

We pray with Jesus for Good News to the poor, liberation to the captives and freedom for the oppressed.

Holy Spirit, we pray for justice and mutual relations in Palestine, in Israel, in the entire Middle East. Make us by grace the flames of peace and the winds of justice in the world.
